HoYoverse has announced that Genshin Impact Version 5.4 “Moonlight Amidst Dreams” will launch on February 12 – in this update, players will see the reintroduction of Mikawa Flower Festival in Inazuma, plus a range of events, challenges, and rewards while also introducing a new 5-star character, Yumemizuki Mizuki.
Genshin Impact Version 5.4
The Mikawa Flower Festival returns with various games and activities featuring Raiden Shogun and “a mysterious nightmare”; players can also participate in events like A Little Fox’s Daydream, Bunshin Phantasm, and Akitsu Harpastum. Festival Stamps earned throughout these activities will grant rewards, including a new 4-star polearm, Tamayuratei no Ohanashi.

5-star Anemo Catalyst user Yumemizuki Mizuki joins the roster as a new playable character in this update. Her combat abilities include the Dreamdrifter state, activated by her Elemental Skill, which deals AoE Anemo damage and boosts Swirl DMG when teammates use elemental attacks. Her Elemental Burst summons a Mini Baku that generates healing or offensive effects depending on party members’ HP levels.
Mizuki will debut in the first phase of the Event Wishes, alongside Sigewinne’s rerun, with Furina and Wriothesley following in the second phase; she will also be added to the Standard Wish banner in Version 5.5 update.

Also introduced in this update are additional events, such as Travelers’ Tales: Anthology Chapter, and mini-games like Reel Ad-Venture, Invasive Fish Wrangler, and Realm of Tempered Valor. Additional game improvements include a Level-Up Plan feature in the Training Guide, streamlined filters for Characters and Weapons, and an Auto Add button for Weapon Refinement.
