Rockstar Games thrilled fans last December with the release of the first trailer for GTA VI, confirming the highly anticipated game’s arrival in 2025. Now, thanks to a recent fiscal report from Take-Two Interactive, the parent company of Rockstar, we have a more specific launch window; fall 2025.

Take-Two Interactive’s fiscal year ends in March, and the company projects a 10% increase in net income over the next 12 months. Strauss Zelnick, Chairman and CEO of Take-Two Interactive, provided insights into the upcoming release of GTA VI:
“Our outlook reflects a narrowing of Rockstar Games’ previously established window of Calendar 2025 to Fall of Calendar 2025 for Grand Theft Auto VI. We are highly confident that Rockstar Games will deliver an unparalleled entertainment experience, and our expectations for the commercial impact of the title continue to increase.”
Zelnick also highlighted that net bookings are expected to grow sequentially over the next three years. Besides GTA VI, Take-Two owns 2K and Private Division, and their confirmed product releases for fiscal 2025 (before March 2025) include NBA 2K25, WWE 2K25, and Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings Game. Additionally, mobile-only titles like Star Wars Hunters and Game of Thrones: Legends are on the horizon.
Pokdepinion: I personally don’t mind waiting a little longer as I hope whatever time they decide to launch the game, it won’t be a buggy mess. There’s a been a trend of major game launches coming out a mess so I hope this doesn’t follow suit.
