Sony’s September 2026 State of Play delivered several announcements covering new games, hardware accessories and a collectible collaboration, all with confirmed pricing and availability for the Southeast Asian region. If you have time to spare, below is the full show:

Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition Adds Roguelike Mode & Story Expansion
Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition is set to arrive on 2 October 2026, bringing two major content additions to Sucker Punch Productions’ 2025 open-world title. The first is Ghost of Yotei: Most Wanted, a single-player roguelike combat mode offering four playable characters: Atsu, Oyuki, Nagato and Jin Sakai, the protagonist of Ghost of Tsushima.
Jin returns with all four of his original stances and signature abilities, including Ghost Stance as a Kill Streak and Dance of Wrath as his Ultimate. Runs begin by selecting a bounty targeting a member of the Yotei Six, progressing through waves of enemies to reach a final boss. Players earn Mon between runs to unlock new techniques, weapon upgrades, charms and character unlocks.
The second addition is Ghost of Yotei: Echoes of Sekigahara, a narrative expansion split between two periods of protagonist Atsu’s life: the Battle of Sekigahara on the mainland and the present day in Ezo. The expansion introduces a previously unseen area called Ashoro Foothills, new enemy types, new heavy weapons, new mythic tales and abilities, and new armour sets.
Existing Ghost of Yotei owners can purchase the Complete Edition Upgrade for RM60.11, which also grants immediate access to Digital Deluxe Edition content. The full Ghost of Yotei Complete Edition is available digitally for RM299. Pre-orders placed by 30 September 2026 include an early unlock of the Sakai Armor, whereas the physical edition launches on 2 October 2026.
GTA VI-Themed DualSense Controllers Arriving 19 November
Two limited-edition DualSense wireless controllers inspired by Grand Theft Auto VI were also announced: a Black Limited Edition and a White Limited Edition, both featuring a color-shifting finish referencing Vice City’s neon aesthetic and custom palm tree details molded directly into the controller casing. The controllers will be available in limited quantities through participating retailers in Southeast Asia from 19 November 2026, priced at RM419; pre-orders open 10 September 2026 at 10:00am local time.
Gran Turismo 7 Spec IV, LEGO PlayStation & SAROS: Zenith Update
Gran Turismo 7 will receive a free Spec IV update in two parts, with Part 1 arriving in October and Part 2 in December 2026. The update adds 12 new cars (to be announced), two new circuits including Sportsland SUGO (October) and the returning Autumn Ring (December), as well as Online Drift Trials, Shuffle Races, a new Family Mode for casual play, and various additional features. More details will be revealed during Gran Turismo World Series Round 3 in Singapore on 3 October.
PlayStation has also partnered with the LEGO Group on the LEGO PlayStation set, a 1,911-piece replica of the original 1994 console in near 1:1 scale (measuring approximately 26cm wide when assembled). The set includes two interactive dioramas referencing Gran Turismo and Ape Escape, functional Power and Open buttons, and a controller that plugs into the console. It will be available from 1 October 2026 via direct.playstation.com and LEGO.com, priced at RM699.90.
Developer Firesprite also released a free Zenith content update for SAROS, adding new replayable game modes and expanded visual and accessibility options. Watch the trailer here.
Until Dawn 2 Launches 28 January 2027
Until Dawn 2, developed by Firesprite in collaboration with AdHoc Studio (creators of Dispatch), is set for release on PS5 on 28 January 2027. The game follows a group of fake ghost-hunting YouTubers called Dead True as they investigate Akishima Island, a remote South Pacific location hiding a centuries-old supernatural threat. Player choices shape outcomes for the ensemble cast.
Pre-orders open 10 September 2026 and include a classic Until Dawn outfit, an Akishima Island holiday outfit and Dr. Hill collector’s bobbleheads. The Standard Edition (disc or digital) is priced at RM209, while the Digital Deluxe Edition, which adds the Y2K Neon Vibes Pack and a Diorama of Death unlockable feature, is priced at RM249.
