Given the move to a whole new generation of gaming for consoles, many are expecting to see the Sony PSVR 2 appear sooner or later. Now, the virtual reality peripheral might be entering mass production soon.

According to Chinese analyst who goes by the name of 黑毛警长008 on social media, who is also a renowned hardware analyst, the Sony PSVR 2 peripheral is expected to begin mass production over at the Goertek company in China.
While there’s no way to tell whether this information is accurate or not, it might point towards the possibility of an official announcement coming soon by Sony. After all, it would mean that the company is gearing up to start selling the product eventually if it’s true.
At the moment, there are no first party PlayStation VR games slated for 2022. One possibility is for Gran Turismo 7 to have a VR mode of sorts, which would be a great addition and an attraction for the game. For now, we will report more on this as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.
Pokdepinion: I sure hope they manage to add some interesting features to it that would make a huge difference over its predecessor. At the same time, I’m also worried it might be too pricey.
