GARRACK will release a collection of mechanical watches created in partnership with the anime film Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc. The four automatic models, part of the S-MEISTER line, go on sale on 21 August 2026, each based on a central character from the film – Chainsaw Man, Aki Hayakawa, Bomb, and Makima.
Chainsaw Man x Reze Arc Mechanical Watches Collection
Each watch features a dial made from momizome-shi, a crumple-dyed variety of Awa washi, a traditional Japanese handmade paper. The dials are finished entirely by hand, resulting in irregular patterning and creasing that vary slightly between individual pieces. Each model pairs an automatic mechanical movement with an open-heart dial that displays the movement’s components from the face of the watch.
Character motifs are incorporated into the hands, indexes, and 12 o’clock position of each dial; the watches are supplied in dedicated presentation boxes featuring artwork corresponding to each character.
The Chainsaw Man model features an orange momizome washi dial, with hour and minute hands shaped after chainsaw blades and a starter-rope mark on the open-heart dial. It comes in a gold case with a black leather strap and measures 41mm. The Aki Hayakawa model features a blue momizome washi dial in a gunmetal case with a navy leather strap, also measuring 41mm.
The Bomb model features a violet momizome washi dial with star-shaped indexes, paired with a black case and purple leather strap, measuring 40mm. Lastly, the Makima model features a reddish momizome washi dial, with hands styled after Makima’s necktie, a coffee-cup motif at 12 o’clock, and spiral indexes. It comes in a rose-gold case with a deep-red leather strap, measuring 40mm.
All four models share a common Cal. 82S0 automatic movement made in Japan, featuring hacking seconds, a power reserve of approximately 42 hours, 21 jewels, and accuracy rated between -20 and +40 seconds per day. The watches include a stainless steel case, mineral glass, a see-through screw case back, leather straps, and water resistance rated at 5 ATM (50 meters).
Each model is priced at ¥39,600 (~RM1,015) with one-year warranty.
Pokdepinion: On paper, that means no two dials will look exactly alike, which is bonus points for exclusivity.
