Acer Malaysia launched the Acer Swift 7 – world’s thinnest laptop at 9.98mm
Acer today unveiled its latest product line-up include the world’s thinnest laptop the Acer Swift 7. Also in the launched event, Acer unveiled several new line-ups such as the Acer Swift 3, Acer Spin 5, Acer Aspire C22 and the Predator Z1 gaming monitor.
Acer Swift 7 – World’s thinnest laptop under 1 cm
The Swift 7 sets out to redefine the trend in laptop design with its 9.98 mm thin body and 1.1 kg weight. Acer Swift 7 is powered by the latest 7th generation Intel Core processor and has up to 9-hour battery life. The Swift 7 comes in all-aluminum body with a black-and-gold dual tone design. Protecting the display, durable Corning Gorilla Glass 5 is used for its 13.3-inch full HD IPS display.
In term of connectivity the Swift 7 equipped with the latest 2×2 802.11AC with MU-MIMO wireless technology to delivers faster Internet speeds. Data transferring, connecting to external displays and charging the laptop is easy with dual USB 3.1 Type-C ports.
Owners of Acer Swift 7 will be entitled to Acer Premium Warranty Service, including free system health checks and cleaning. The service will be done within 24 hours at special counter service without any additional charge. Acer Swift 7 is priced at RM 4999, and will be available in the market very soon.
Acer Swift 3 – Versatile and stylish with the Luxury Gold
The Acer Swift 3 is introduced in the Malaysia market with the elegant Luxury Gold color, ideal for professionals and students who seek a stylish laptop. Powered by 6th generation of Intel Core i5 processor, the Swift 3 also features Acer Fingerprint Reader paired with Windows Hello.
In term of connectivity its offers the same wireless module found in the Swift 7. The Swift 3 is available for RM 2899 nationwide.
Acer Spin 5 – Flexible design up to 10-hour battery life
Featuring Acer’s patented 360-degree dual-torque hingem the Acer Spin 5 has four useful configurations which are laptop, tablet, space-saving mode and tent mode. This 13.3-inch laptop uses an IPS panel with full HD resolution. With the crossed-hairline brush finish on aluminum top cover, it doesn’t only feel nice when touched, but also enhances the grip.
The Acer Spin 5 is powered by a 6th generation Intel Core i3 processor, with 4GB DDR4 RAM and 128GB SSD for a responsive computing experience. With battery life up to 10 hours no charging is needed when you are out all day for work or play.
The Acer Swift 5 is available to purchase nationwide and priced at RM 2199.
Acer Aspire CC 22 – Slim AIO PC for families
Coming in a slim design with 8mm bezels for a stunning look, the Acer Aspire C 22 powered by 6th generation Intel Core i3 processor is ideal for daily computing tasks. The Aspire C 22 is a small budget AIO PC with a FHD 21.5-inch screen.
It is equipped with 802.11AC wireless technology and 1MP HD USB external webcam.
Priced at RM 2099, the Aspire C 22 is available in silver and gold finishing, looking right at home whether at work or at.. er… home. The Aspire C 22 will be available in stores nationwide from 21 November 2016.
Acer Predator Z1 – First curved monitor with Eye-tracking technology
Acer Predator Z1 is the first 27-inch, curved monitor with NVIDIA G-Sync and Tobii eye-tracking technology. The curved display (1800R curvature) features Full HD resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate, and is designed for an immersive and seamless gaming experience.
With its Tobii eye-tracking technology its allows for new methods of interacting with the game for aiming, identifying enemies and many more by simply looking at objects on the screens. The Predator Z1 also comes with a fast response time of 4ms, enabling the silky-smooth gaming experience.
The Acer Predator Z1 will be available in mid-December 2016 at selected Acer resellers nationwide.
Pokdepinion: The prices are surprisingly affordable, especially the Acer Spin 5, which is quite ideal for most student or office workers who do not need too much performance for work, but would benefit more from the multitude of configurations and battery life offered.
I’m searching for a laptop to be chosen for the last 2-3 weeks, and still searching for the right one but couldn’t decide any yet and I certainly need your opinion. I saw a Cry Black coloured laptop (forgot the full code) and I think I like it. Don’t know which to choose. Please help me, Pokde. Cry Black seems to be the latest one beside Acer Alpha FHD screen.
