Right from the Acer Day “Play Music Together” launch at Kuala Lumpur, Acer Malaysia took the time to introduce the new Predator Helios 300 Special Edition gaming laptop, clad in an all-white aluminium chassis with accented gold trims.

The Predator Helios 300 Special Edition gaming laptop is powered by the 8th generation Intel Core i7-8750H and a GTX 1060 6GB. As for memory, you have a 256GB PCIe SSD, a 1TB 7200RPM HDD, and 8GBs of DDR4 RAM. As you can expect from the firepower its packing, the laptop is VR-ready.

With a 15.6-inch Full HD 144Hz IPS display, you can look forward to tear-free gameplay experiences with low input lag. Inside the machine, you have the dual-fan system running on their signature AeroBlade 3D metal fans with the world’s thinnest metal fan blade at only 0.1mm. It is said to not only be capable of gaming for long hours without thermal throttling, you can also overclock it to some extent. You can overclock it, and also customize it, via the PredatorSense software.

The Predator Helios 300 Special Edition gaming laptop will come together with a Predator gaming backpack, earphone, gaming mouse, and a white mousepad to match its appearance. It will be available with a retail price of RM6,199 and will be available starting mid-August onwards at all Acer Official Online Stores and authorized Predator Partners throughout Malaysia.

Just keep in mind that this model has a limited number of units. To be precise, there’s only 50 of them here in Malaysia.

Pokdepinion: Thank the lord they didn’t go with a 5400RPM HDD. Sure, it already has an SSD but 5400RPM HDDs are just a pain to use.
