Acer Predator Triton 500 RTX Launched in Malaysia
At a launch event in Kuala Lumpur today, the folks over at Acer Malaysia has officially launched the Acer Predator Triton 500 RTX gaming laptops here in Malaysia. It’s a thin yet powerful gaming laptop with NVIDIA GeForce RTX GPUs at a surprisingly attractive price.
The Acer Predator Triton 500 RTX will come in three different variants in which the only difference is the CPU and GPU; either Intel Core i7-8750H or the i5-8300H, and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or the RTX 2070 Max-Q GPU.
All three variants will come with a 15.6-inch 144 Hz Full HD IPS display with support for NVIDIA G-Sync, 512GB NVMe SSD which consists of two 256GB NVMe SSD in RAID 0, and 16GB DDR4 RAM dual-channel. What’s amazing here is that they managed to fit in all of this into a 17.9mm thin chassis that weighs only 2.1kg. For cooling, it utilizes the 4th generation AeroBlade 3D fans with 0.1mm bionic blades which is said to enhance airflow by 45% with 35% less noise compared to regular fans.

Pokdepinion: I am honestly surprised at how competitive the price is. It’s a very good price point and being able to fit all of that in such a slim and light body, it’s gonna be pretty hard to beat. Can’t wait to review it and see how it fares so stay tuned for that.
