Noctua NH-U12A raises the bar for 120mm CPU coolers
It was only a matter of time until Noctua released a cooler featuring the innovative Noctua NF-A12x25 fans. And the time is now. The Noctua NH-U12A comes with two of the Noctua NF-A12x25 fans to cool better than some 140mm coolers.
As compared to the older Noctua NH-U12S, Noctua has added two additional heatpipes to the Noctua NH-U12A. It also has 37% more fin area which allows it to dissipate more heat with the powerful Noctua NF-A12x25 fans in a push-pull configuration.
The Noctua NH-U12A comes with all the perks of a 120mm cooler, with better RAM, case and PCIe compatibility. It’s designed to be asymmetric too, and does not overhang the RAM slots to prevent you from running into compatibility issues with taller RAM modules. It’s 125mm width also prevents any clearance issues with the top PCIe slot on most ATX and mATX boards.
