Acer To Host Asia Pacific Predator League 2019 — Qualifiers for Dota 2 and PUBG To Come

The Asia Pacific Predator League returns for the second year running, this time with two games. This year’s league will be bigger than before with 16 countries to compete in PUBG and Dota 2 tournaments.

Back again, the Asia Pacific Predator League 2019 will see participation from 16 different countries. Of course, in order to be a part of that, you’d need to qualify first.

There’ll be offline qualifiers to be held at 6 cybercafes which includes Mineski Teluk Cempedak Kuantan, M&M Premium eSports Cafe Iph, Mineski Arena Johor, Mineski Setiawangsa KL, Mineski Arena Kajang and Eternity eSports Penang and four online qualifiers for Dota 2. The winner will bring home a share of RM25,000 of the prize pool of RM56,000 cash.

As for PUBG, there’ll be 4 online qualifying rounds which will be held on the 29 Sept, 30 Sept, 13 Oct, and 14 Oct. All top 5 squads from the 4 online qualifying rounds will be playing in the finals in Empire City Mall, Damansara Perdana on 27-28 October 2018 where the winner will be go home with a total of RM4,000 and a Predator Aethon 500 keyboard.

The prize pool breakdown is RM56,000 cash for Dota 2 and RM10,000 for PUBG, while another RM34,000 worth of prizes.

The Asia Pacific Predator League 2019 will be held on 15-17 February 2019 at the Nimibutr Stadium, located in the National Stadium complex, Bangkok, Thailand.
