Android 8.0 Oreo Beta Is Now Available For Nokia 8 – Nokia Is Really Delivering Their Promise!
So far in Nokia’s recent revival history, they have been making promises, especially on phone updates, to consumers everywhere, and so far, they’ve managed to fulfill them. Previously, they promised that the latest Nokia smartphones will be the first in getting the Android 8.0 Oreo update and they are one step in achieving that with the recent news that the Nokia 8 is now available to beta test the operating system.

The news was announced by HMD’s chief product officer, Juho Sarvikas. He posted it via his own Twitter account, while providing users a link that will let them join the beta testing.
If you were one of those who bought the lower priced Nokia models e.g.,Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and the Nokia 6, don’t worry. He also added that they will be getting the Oreo update in the near future.

While we still have no confirmation on when the Android 8.0 update will be released, it’s still impressive what Nokia are working on for their consumers.
Since two months since its mid-August release, the Oreo update has mostly Nexus and Pixel devices running it right now. Soon to get them are Sony Xperia XZ Premium buyers.
Let’s just hope HMD can keep this up, and continue to deliver for their Nokia phones. It would be interesting to see what’s next for Nokia devices in the future.
