ASUS ROG announced the ROG G701VI gaming notebook — world’s first 120Hz display
ASUS ROG has announced the new gaming notebook the ASUS ROG G701VI dubbed as the world’s first gaming notebook comes with 120Hz display panel. The ROG G701VI is also thinner by two thirds of G752 at only 32.5mm.
The 17.3-inch display is also support G-Sync technology and VR ready powered by the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics. In term of processing power, the ROG G701VI packs with an Intel Core i7 Skylake processor and up to 64GB of DDR4 memory at 2400Mhz. For faster loading time and game load the ROG G701VI comes with a NVME 512GB PCIE drive.
For the connectivity, the ROG G701VI Gaming Laptop also accommodate as much as three extension monitors thanks for the Trinity Display Technology the laptop has. The G701VI has an HDMI 2.0 port, USB 3.1 Type-C and mini DisplayPort for its triple-monitor setup.
On the exterior, the Bio-Armor styling of ROG G701VI is consistent with the other high-end ROG laptops. The brushed metal finish sporting the Titanium Armor & Plasma Copper color scheme, the illuminating ROG logo, and the transparent cover.
For immersive gaming experience the ROG G701VI comes with 30-key rollover technology on the anti-ghosting backlit keyboard. It also upgrades the audio with a built-in ESS Sabre ES9018K2M Hi-Fi DAC that found on the Maximus VIII Extreme/Assembly and amplifier.
