In this 2016, we have witnessed the ASUS Zenvolution campaign which launched of the ASUS Zenfone 3 series. The line-up is consisting of the ASUS Zenfone 3 Max, Zenfone 3 Laser, Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Ultra and Zenfone 3 Deluxe. For the coming year, 2017, ASUS has already planned its  campaign with its first Zennovation event on CES 2017.

The event scheduled on 4th January 2017 which falls during CES 2017, Las Vegas. There are no specific details of what will be making an appearance at the event, yet. But the banner actually give us some hint with the “expand your vision and stretch the imagination”.The galaxy art resembles an iris and should be a hint at what’s coming. Iris or eye could mean something related to visual or optical. Considering this year’s focus on the ASUS Zenfone 3’s camera, further innovation in that area could be highly probable.

If we take a look at 2016 smartphone’s trends, we saw a lot of smartphone manufacturers pack their flagship smartphones with powerful front cameras, like the OPPO F1s and Vivo V5. Some of them mounted dual-lens camera setups like we found on the Huawei P9, Honor 8 and iPhone 7 Plus. Last but not least, the Hasselblad True Zoom module for Moto Z and Z Play pushes the boundaries of smartphone photography.

ASUS could also be planning to launch the rumored ASUS Zenfone AR, a smartphone to run Tango, Google’s augmented reality technology which right now can only be found on the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro. Or, will we see a Zenfone 3 Zoom? We will definitely keep you updated as we receive more news!

Pokdepinion: We should be seeing a new flagship device with the flagship-class Snapdragon 835, and hopefully a new member in the unique Padfone series.
