Black Shark 2 launching this 23rd October — to come in signature black-green scheme too?

Xiaomi’s Black Shark 2 design was leaked previously, but its launch date was still unknown. It seems that the launch date has also been leaked out recently. It’s going to be released on 23rd October.

The poster does nothing but tease about the number of days left till the launch. Interestingly, the majority of the text is in a Chinese except for the 5 Days left teaser. Somewhat curious mix, so we would take this teaser with a pinch of salt.

The Black Shark 2 is expected to arrive with a Snapdragon 845, up to 8GB of RAM and some fast UFS 2.1 storage. When the first Black Shark came out, it was one of the first Snapdragon 845 smartphones. Now, the gaming smartphone scene is teeming with options right now, among which are the ROG Phone and Razer Phone 2.

Will the Black Shark 2 repeat its predecessor success of being the most affordable gaming smartphone once again? Or will it have a bigger price tag but trade it off with more features? Let’s find out in 5 days.

Pokdepinion: The Black Shark 2 has a shot if it’s priced more affordably than the Razer Phone 2 and ROG Phone. Features-wise, we believe it will have a hard time coming even close to the ROG Phone.
