Dell introduce its gaming monitor with TN panel — Dell SE2417HG
Dell is announced a gaming monitor that aims for eSports with a screen size of 23.6 inches with full HD resolution of 1920x1080p. The Dell SE2417HG using TN panel for the main display with 60Hz refresh rate. Alongside a 1000:1 contrast ration the Dell SE2417HG comes with 1ms grey to grey response time which is very good for gaming purposes. It also is using standard WLED back-light to providing 300 cd/m2 maximum luminance.
Unfortunately it have no DVI connector but include with 2 HDMI 1.4 ports, a VGA port and 3.5mm audio jack. On the front design the Dell SE2417HG is looking to implement new design but actually pretty much the same as other Dell monitors.
As Dell trying to make this monitor as a flagship gaming monitor it price at 1539 RMB approximately at MYR 1100.
Pokdepinion: Will the Dell SE2417HG be a worthy gaming monitor as it use TN panel? I’m totally fine with it if the purpose is only for gaming but Dell really need to take a consideration of lacking DVI connector.
