HONOR Malaysia has announce today that they are collaborating with local filmmakers, Quek Shio Chuan and Ismail Kamarul to capture the directors’ lives off-camera with the HONOR View20. With the collaboration, the company aims to bridge local art and technology to tell compelling stores, capture vivid experiences and push the limits of their visual expressions.

The two filmmakers have been making waves in the local filmmaking and video directing scene with multiple festival-themed TVCs that have gone viral such as the heart-warming Malaysian Festive Raya Campaign with Petronas, and the Chinese New Year advertisement for TNB. Last year, Quek made headlines when his film Guang, bagged the Best New Director award at the 13th Chinese Youth Generation Film Forum in China, even before it hit cinemas.

You can check out Quek’s and Kamarul’s Instagram to follow them on their journey with HONOR.

HONOR View20 was launched back in January 2019. The phone comes with the latest flagship Kirin 980 chipset and is equipped with a 48MP and 3D camera. To find out more on HONOR’s current flagship device, check out our full hands-on review here.

Pokdepinion: I’m quite interested on what both of them will produce with the HONOR View20. If you are interested as I am, be sure to follow their Instagram profiles!
