HTC Unveil New Exodus 1 Blockchain Phone
HTC has recently announced their latest smartphone, the Exodus 1, which requires a rather interesting way to purchase the device.

What’s surprising about the phone is that it can only be bought through Bitcoin or Ethereum. With the phone, which was announced back in May 2018, the company plans on expanding the blockchain ecosystem through the world’s first smartphone that revolves around cryptocurrency. Additionally, with it, HTC hopes to bring decentralization and better security to their product.
According to them, the Exodus will have a price of 0.15 BTC or 4.78 ($1,000). Besides being your standard smartphone, it will also feature its own crypto wallet, called Zion which can act as a hardware wallet as well.
As for specifications of the phone, it comes packed with a Snapdragon 845 chipset and comes with 6GB RAM that’s paired with 128GB of internal storage. Powering it up is a 3,500mAh battery and it runs on Android 8.1 Oreo.
The Exodus 1 comes with a dual camera setup at the rear, which consists of a 16MP camera along with a 12MP shooter. For selfies, it offers a 8MP lens.
