HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro and P20 Pro start receiving EMUI 9.0 update — Android 9.0 Pie and GPU Turbo 2.0 has come to HUAWEI’s older flagships!
HUAWEI probably doesn’t rank too highly when it comes to delivering timely updates to their slew of flagships, but it seems like they just might this time. Apparently, the EMUI 9.0 based on Android 9.0 Pie updates are rolling out to the HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro and HUAWEI P20 Pro in some parts of Europe.
The EMUI 9.0 update is expected to roll-out globally after the HUAWEI Mate 20 is launched. Which is pretty soon anyway, so the wait isn’t too long. The new update not only brings the latest Android version the HUAWEI Mate 10 Pro and HUAWEI P20 Pro, but also comes with GPU Turbo 2.0, which adds support for more games.
Both devices share the same build number for the update, which is 9.0.0.108. It appears to be a somewhat early release, so any bug fixes should have been done by the time it rolls out globally.
