HUAWEI Mate 9 to get Oreo starting TODAY; EMUI 8.0 to bring more intelligent features!

HUAWEI Mate 9 users rejoice! HUAWEI has not left you out in the cold despite launching the newer Mate 10 recently. The Android 8.0 Oreo update with EMUI 8.0 will bring more features to your devices that were previously exclusive for the Mate 10 series.

HUAWEI promises better battery management with EMUI 8.0, which is nice to see considering they totally messed up the battery life in EMUI 5.x. They claim to be able to support power users with a full day of usage. Aside from improved battery life, EMUI 8.0 will bring more features to improve your user experience, such as intelligently recommending you to use eye comfort mode to prevent eye fatigue.

EMUI 8.0 builds upon the machine learning introduced in EMUI 5.0 with better resource management. The software will intelligently reduce memory fragmentation, compress memory and allocate CPU resources dynamically for your foreground applications to run optimally.

HUAWEI is confident that the EMUI 8.0 update to the HUAWEI Mate 9 will enable it to deliver a enduring fluid user experience with its adaptive machine learning, which will only get better over time.
