HUAWEI P30 Pro crowned EISA Best Smart of the Year
The HUAWEI P30 Pro is one formidable smartphone. The Leica Quad Camera is definitely industry-leading with a 40MP HUAWEI SuperSpectrum sensor, a 5x periscope telephoto lens, a 20MP ultra-wide camera and a HUAWEI ToF camera. Which is probably why the European Image and Sound Association (EISA) crowned it the EISA Best Smartphone.
This marks the second year in a row HUAWEI has bagged the award, with the previous year’s award snagged by the HUAWEI P20 Pro. EISA noted the HUAWEI P30 Pro’s low-light photography as being “by far the best you can currently get from a smartphone” and praised the multiple camera setup as one that “surpasses any of its competitors.”
HUAWEI definitely did a great job designing the HUAWEI P30 Pro, with a great set of features that extend beyond its camera. The curved 6.47″ OLED Dewdrop display seamlessly blends into the double 3D curved glass body, all while managing to cram a large 4200 mAh battery sits underneath the sleek design of the device.
Other smartphones to have bagged EISA’s awards this year include the HONOR 20 Pro, Redmi Note 7 and also the OnePlus 7 Pro. The HONOR 20 Pro takes home the EISA Lifestyle Smartphone 2019-2020 award, while the Redmi Note 7 scores the EISA Best Buy Smartphone 2019-2020. The OnePlus 7 Pro is EISA’s Advanced Smartphone 2019-2020.
The HONOR 20 Pro is a very interesting device, as HONOR managed to cram a camera that delivers better results than much pricier flagships, a large battery, and a flagship Kirin 980 into a design that people with smaller hands would appreciate. Meanwhile if you are talking about bang-for-buck, the Redmi Note 7 is an excellent offering for the price.
