Donkey Kong’s Nemesis, King K. Rool, Confirmed for Super Smash Bros Ultimate

Super Smash Bros Ultimate is set to bring players the series’ most expansive roster of characters ever, and while the fighting lineup is mostly filled up with familiar faces, a new fighter will emerge in the form of the big, bad King K. Rool.

During today’s Nintendo Direct for Super Smash Bros Ultimate, series director Masahiro Sakurai revealed that King K. Rool from the Donkey Kong Country series will be entering the fray as a new fighter in Super Smash Bros Ultimate.

As shown during the Direct, the character will definitely be a much heavier fighter and while he’ll rely on muscles and strength to get his way to victory, he also has an assortment of quirky moves that should make him an unpredictable force to go up against.

King K. Rool is joining the fight alongside other newcomers that were announced during the Nintendo Direct presentation for the game, such as Castlevania‘s Simon Belmont and Richter, and new Echo Fighters entering the fray such as Metroid‘s Dark Samus and Fire Emblem‘s Chrom.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate will release exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on 7th December 2018.

Pokdepinion: Truth be told, I completely forgot about him. Well, welcome aboard I suppose.
