Nioh 2 Release Date Officially Announced

As some of you may know by now, Nioh will be coming to November’s PS Plus free games lineup, which you can read about by clicking here. There’s a good reason for that as Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have officially announced the release date for the upcoming Nioh 2.

Nioh 2 will be making its way to the PlayStation 4 next year. To be precise, it will launching on 13th March 2020. This is yet another title that joins the already-stacked slate of releases in the first portion of 2020 with other high-profile games such as Cyberpunk 2077, Final Fantasy VII Remake, and DOOM Eternal also coming out within the first few months of the year.

To help tide fans over until release, an open beta for Nioh 2 is set to finally kick off later this week. The beta is set to run from 1st November until 10th November 2019 and will be available to download for free from the PlayStation Store. You can even play as William, the protagonist of the previous game, by using the Transform action.

Players will be able to explore the Interim and Sunomata locations in this beta. If you succeed in beating the beta, you’ll then be rewarded with the Kamaitachi Helmet to utilize in the full release of Nioh 2 next year. Essentially, it’s worth playing the beta if you’re planning to get the game.

Once again, Nioh 2 will be coming exclusively to the PlayStaion 4 on 13th March 2020.

Pokdepinion: The game does look very promising and I have high hopes for it. I personally enjoyed the first game and I hope the new one will deliver as well.
