Nokia 8.1 Coming To Malaysia This 18th January At RM1699
HMD Global has finally announced that their latest smartphone, the Nokia 8.1, will be making its way here to our shores starting from 18th of January 2018 at the price tag of RM1,699.
Powering it is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset and it comes with a 3500mAh battery under the hood. Straight out of the box, it will run on Android 9 Pie, offering the best Android experience that’s available currently.
Memory wise, it packs 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM that’s mated with 64GB internal storage (expandable up to 400GB). The phone sports a 6.18-inch FHD+ 18:7:9 PureDisplay, where it also comes with HDR10.
As for cameras, it comes with a dual 12MP+13MP rear setup that features OIS, EIS, ZEISS, as well as depth sensing. As for selfies, it sports a 20MP front camera.
Available in Blue and Silver color variants, the Nokia 8.1 will receive three years of monthly security patches as well as two major OS updates as guaranteed in the Android One program.
Pokdepinion: Hmm, they’ve rated the device as the ‘value flagship segment’. I guess we probably need to test the device ourselves to find out if it really does offer that kind of experience.
