OPPO Introduce Find X 5G Prototype
At the Chinese Mobile Global Partners Conference, OPPO has unveiled that they are working together with partners worldwide to develop a new 5G ecosystem.
Starting it off is their OPPO Find X 5G prototype, with it packing a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset and X50 5G modem. At the event, they’ve demonstrated 5G data connectivity and application such as browsing, online video replay, and video calls using the device.
The company has also introduced the concept of 5G+, where they belief it will be an era where everything is connected and ‘experience is king’.
Despite the news, there’s no official launch date of the device. We shall keep you posted once the news is made available.
Pokdepinion: Sure 5G sounds promising to the ears, but in order the get the most out of it, I think Malaysia has to progress further in terms of connectivity here. Sometimes you just don’t get 3G at certain areas let alone 4G connection.
