Beforehand there was teasers of the POCO X2. Now it seems that the company has confirmed of its release date as well as some interesting features of the smartphone.

The phone, which is scheduled to be unveiled on the 4th of February 2020 in India is said to have an “extreme refresh rate” display as well as liquid cooling to handle the thermals better.

It is also suggested that the phone will be featuring a Sony IMX 686 sensor and if reports are true, then the POCO X2 will be powered by a Snapdragon 730G chipset. In terms of memory, it could pack 8GB RAM that’s paired with 256GB of internal storage.

Other than that, a 4500mAh battery is touted to be present and there’s also 27W fast charging support. Your traditional headphone jack is supposedly available too. As for the software, the phone is expected to run MIUI for POCO, which is based on android 10.

Pokdepinion: Well that was unexpected. I thought that they were releasing a flagship smartphone. Well regardless, let’s just hope that they keep the POCO DNA alive with the POCO X2 and make it affordable/value for money. I mean that made the brand famous in the first place with the original POCO.
