The full Grenada XT GPU in this card is equipped with 2816 stream processors and clocked at 1100MHz, along with 8GB of 1525MHz (6.1 GHz effective) GDDR5 memory which is fed via a wide 512-bit memory interface. Digital PWM solution works at a higher frequency in order to support fine tuning adjustment and low ripple at an output voltage to improve power efficiency up to 90%. Moreover, a total of 8 phases (6+1+1) is used in the board design for power efficiency, stability, and delivering ultimate performance at OC mode. PowIRstage increases the power up to 3-13%, features up to 1.0 MHz switching frequency, and supports efficient cooling ability.

HYBRID cooling to keep the hot 390X core cool and comfortable with an AIO watercooler, while not forgetting the VRMs as well which will be cooled by air. The HYBRID Cooling system allows for better overclocking environment, while also leveraging the Smart Air Cooling system. The Smart Air Cooling system has a special sensor that detects the MOSFET’s temperature automatically and controls the fan speed. The 15 degree slanted fan top cover design will give the best air flow from the MOSFET to bracket for a more efficient cooling solution for the card. With this feature, the MOSFETs will run more efficiently thanks to the cooler temperatures while reducing power consumption and prolonging fan longevity. LEDs are attached on the side of the card which makes the card even more aesthetically pleasing to gamers and PC builders. The Devil R9 390X 8GB GDDR5 is a graphics card that can satisfy many gamers’ needs; from playing the current best games on the highest graphics settings to games that will be released in the future.

Pokdepinion: This is one nice looking card but everything still boils down to the pricing. If it costs more than its rivals from the green camp, this card is pretty much DOA.
