Razer Phone 2 Officially Launched in Malaysia – Bundle Plans Available As Well
Razer Phone 2 Officially Launched in Malaysia
At a launch event in Petaling Jaya today, the Razer Phone 2 gaming phone was launched. This marks the first Razer smartphone to be officially available in Malaysia as the previous generation one did not officially land in our shores.
The Razer Phone 2 is a gaming phone catered to those who often play mobile games and would like to have the most immersive, comfortable mobile gaming experience around. It has a silky smooth 120Hz IGZO display (1440 x 2560 resolution) with HDR support, with a brighter display and improved colour accuracy from the previous generation device.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset which is mated to 8GBs of LPDDR4X RAM, ensuring that users will have powerful performance right in the palm of their hands. Of course, there’s no point in having powerful hardware if it can’t survive for long so it does have the vapor chamber cooling, a rather sizeable 4,000 mAh battery capacity, Qualcomm QuickCharge 4.0+ support, and wireless charging.
The dual front-facing speakers with Dolby Atmos as well as the 24-bit DAC will ensure the cleanest, most immersive audio experience. It will not only make gaming more enjoyable, but also multimedia use in general like watching videos or listening to music.
The signature Razer Chroma RGB lighting is actually a feature in the Razer Phone 2, with the triple-headed snake logo capable of illuminating up to 16.8 million colours. You can have the RGB lighting kick in for notifications. Users can freely customize colour options and lighting effects using the Chroma Configurator app.
