Some of you might recall the time where we’ve reported on the realme X50 5G smartphone, where it was scheduled to release on the 7th of January this year. Now with it being launched in China already, we got a look of what exactly the new device offers.

As you can tell by its name, the realme X50 5G has 5G support, where it features a Snapdragon 765G SoC under the hood. If you are a fan of your displays, well you will be liking the fact that they’ve added one with a 120Hz refresh rate on the phone itself.

Coming with a 6.57″ screen, it offers a 90.4% screen-to-body ratio, which also boasts FHD+ resolution.

For the cameras, it sports a quad camera configuration, offering a 64MP main camera, a 8MP ultra-wide lens, 12MP telephoto shooter, and a 2MP macro lens. As for selfies, it comes with a dual selfie setup, offering a 16MP main camera and a 8MP 105-degree ultra-wide angle lens.

Battery wise, there’s a big 4200mAh battery powering it up, which you can charge with its 30W VOOC Flash 4.0 fast charge.

realme has finally decided to venture away from OPPO’s ColorOS where the realme X50 5G will be running on realme UI. It is said that the realme UI can perform 14% faster on app startup time, 20% lower memory footprint, as well as 40% improvement on battery life, which is rather impressive.

The realme X50 5G goes on sale in China on the 14th of January 2020 where there will be two variants, three RAM variants at 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB. As for the storage, it comes with up to 258GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The price? Well you can refer to the details below:

  • 8GB/128GB – CNY 2,499 (~RM1,480)
  • 6GB/256GB – CNY 2,699 (~RM1,598)
  • 12GB/256GB – CNY 2,999 (~RM1,776)

Pokdepinion: Wow, seems like an attractive offering if that’s the price for Malaysia, assuming that it will reach here..
