The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is priced at RM2299, available from 10th March
The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is a 6″ smartphone was first launched in China and later in India, and now it has been announced here in Malaysia. Unlike the previous Samsung Galaxy C series smartphones which were exclusive to the China market, the Galaxy C9 Pro is the first one to ever hit Malaysian shores. Available starting from 10th March, the large smartphone packs some impressive specifications for some serious performance.
The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro features a Snapdragon 653 octa-core processor running at 1.95 GHz, which is a higher clocked variant of the Snapdragon 652 SoC we have seen in several devices before this. This is paired with 6GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage, ensuring a smooth user experience and lots of space for your media. If that’s not enough, you can expand the storage by up to 256GB with a microSD card.
Make use of that expansive 6GB RAM by multitasking on the 6″ full HD SuperAMOLED display, or just enjoy media. Either way, it is sure to be quite a joy on the large screen. The sleek 6.9mm thin full metal body and 2.5D glass gives it a premium feel in hand. If you look closely, you will also spot the 6 lines that make up the antenna which will remind you of a certain smartphone we recently reviewed. 16MP f/1.9 cameras allow you take impressive shots and selfies, with PDAF technology for the rear camera for faster focusing. A 4000 mAh battery keeps you powered up, and there is also fast charging support via the USB Type-C port.
The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is available in Black, Gold and Pink Gold colors at all Samsung brand stores nationwide from 10th March onwards at a price of RM2299 inclusive of GST.
Pokdepinion: RM2299 for a “mid-range” device with a mid-range seems a little high, but if a large screen is one of your requirements, then you might find the Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro interesting.
