Samsung launches Samsung Pay in Malaysia
Samsung today announced its partnership with more banking leaders in Malaysia as part of its strategic move to launch and expand its Samsung Pay service. Starting with Maybank in the early January, Samsung has now expanded to partner with CIMB, Citibank, Standard Chartered, with Hong Leong coming on board very soon too. For the affiliation networks, Samsung Pay also works with Mastercard and Visa, as well B Infinite, Bonuslink, and Sunway Pals.

Samsung Pay is the only mobile wallet that allows users to pay with their compatible Samsung smartphones at terminals that accept either NFC or MST payments, making shopping and dining more convenient than ever before. Currently, Samsung Pay is available for Samsung smartphone line-up such as Samsung Galaxy S7, S7 edge, S6 edge+, Note 5 and Galaxy A5 (2016 and 2017 version) and A7 (2016 and 2017 version).

A secure and easy-to-use mobile payment service, Samsung Pay can be used to make purchases almost anywhere that credit, debit and prepaid cards are accepted.
- Simple: To make a payment on Samsung Pay, users can simply swipe up on their eligible Galaxy smartphone, scan their fingerprint and pay.
- Secure: Samsung Pay uses three levels of security to enable secure payments – fingerprint authentication, tokenization and Samsung KNOX, Samsung’s defense-grade mobile security platform.
- Almost Anywhere: Samsung Pay is compatible with the majority of existing and new terminals, allowing users to pay almost anywhere you can swipe or tap your card.
