Sony Introduces New WF-1000XM3 True Wireless Headphones
Sony today announced that they’re expanding their famous 1000X family with the addition of the new Sony WF-1000XM3. The third gen of the series features improved noise cancellation with the HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN1e chip and Dual Noise Sensor Technology, delivering exceptional performance.
With the two technology combined, it performs to catch and cancel noise respectively, allowing you to focus solely to your music. Its Dual Noise Sensor technology allows for more ambient sound to be captured around you. Once it is captured, the QN1e processor gets to work where it not only cancels more noise across almost all frequencies but also uses less power.
The WF-1000XM3 offers quality sound thanks to its 24-bit audio signal processing and DAC with amplifier. DIgital Sound Enhancement Engine HX (DSEE HX) upscales compressed digital music files such as MP3 formats to bring you closer to the quality of High-Resolution Audio.
Additionally, the WF-1000XM3 buds are small and light but manage to be packed in a newly developed Bluetooth chip, allowing for L/R simultaneous content at the same time, rather than the conventional left-to-right relay Bluetooth transmission.
In terms of battery life, you can listen for up to 24 hours with Noise Cancelling on and Sony claims that with just 10 minutes of charging, it can give you up to 90 minutes of battery life.
Aside from that, you can use the Quick Attention mode to communicate without removing your earbuds. To do so, you can simply place your finger over the touch panel of the left earbud to quickly lower the music volume and let the ambient sound in. Adding to that, the new Wearing Detection feature automatically pauses your music when you remove one of the earbuds from your ear and resumes playing when you put the earbud back. Pretty convenient right?
Optimized for Google Assistant, you can control the headphones by voice. It is also compatible with the Sony Headphones Connect app, where you can customize features such as sound, noise cancellation, touch controls, and even more.
The Sony WF-1000XM3 will be available in Malaysia starting this August 2019 for the price tag of RM949 and is available in Black and Silver color variants.
Pokdepinion: Looks pretty premium to me. Personally, I prefer traditional headphones though because I know it’s harder for me to lose sight of them..
