First up is the Camera of the Year award. They’ve done it thanks to their a7 III where it features new 24.2MP1 back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS image sensor with increased sensitivity, resolution, as well as 15 stops of dynamic range at low sensitivities. It also comes with fast shooting at up to 10fps with AF/AE tracking with either mechanical shutter or silent shooting, diverse 4K video capabilities and more.

It also offers 4K video quality, wide 15-stop dynamic range, and high sensitivity with noise reduction.
Claiming the spot for the Superzoom camera of the year is the Sony RX10 IV. It also features the versatile ZEISS Vario-Sonnar 24-600mm F2.4-F4 lens, delivering a combination of speed and mobility.
The FE 16-35mm F2.8 GM won this year’s mirrorless wide-angle zoom lens award. It is the first wide-angle G Master model, making it suitable for an extensive variety of shooting situations. It is also lightweight and compact, ensuring portability and usability. The lens offers corner-to-corner sharpness with an optical design that includes five aspherical elements.
Up next is the FE 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 GM OSS lens which won the mirrorless telezoom lens of the year. It offers fast, precise AF capabilities, a lightweight, portable design and a variety of professional functions and customization. This certainly comes in handy when shooting sports or wildlife.
If you thought that Sony just won only from their camera products, well guess again. Their Sony UBP-X700 won EISA’s best buy UHD BLU-RAY Player of the year award. While offering 4K HDR, it also can play DVDs, Blu-ray Discs as well as SACD. It also comes with wireless networking abilities, able to access online video and audio services, which includes Netflix and Youtube. In addition, there’s a second HDMI output that can send audio, while the main output carries the video signal directly to a television.
Last item on the list is the Sony VPL-VW760ES projector. It won the Premium Projector 2018-2019 award. It is Sony’s premium native 4K HDR 2000lm laser projector that offers a compact design. The projector promises 20,000hours of virtually maintance free usage and consistent light levels without lamp changes. Needless to say, it offers the best experience to those who want the latest 4K HDR film or TV shows.
