Facing Connection Errors in Monster Hunter World (PC)?
It is without a doubt that Monster Hunter World is a very popular game as it managed to garner a huge number of players upon its PC release. However, the game has been seeing some major connection errors that led to many people feeling bitter about the game, with some people even quitting it completely.
Well, the folks over at Capcom claims to have fixed the issue with their latest update for Monster Hunter World, which updates the game’s revision number to 151910.
As for the specifics, Capcom noted that they have fixed the following issues:
Monster Hunter World Connection Error Fixes
- Fixed an issue where error messages would display and kick players offline when searching for online sessions. Also readjusted the matchmaking function to make it easier to find an online session via “Search for an Online Session” > “Matchmake”.
- Fixed an issue where error messages would display and kick players offline after having joined an online session.
- Fixed an issue where error messages would display and kick players offline while playing multiplayer. This adjustment reduces the number of occurrences, though it does not completely resolve the issue. We will continue to investigate this matter.
- Fixed an issue where the error message “E_FAIL : hr” would display and the game would crash when switching to full screen mode.
All you have to do is make sure you have the latest version of the game on your PC to have these fixed applied. If your game revision number is 151910, then you have the right one. The game revision number will be shown on the top-left corner of your screen upon launching the game in Windowed mode. You will have to close and reopen the game in order for it to take place, assuming it hasn’t already updated by itself.
If you are still facing some connection errors despite the update, be sure to contact support for it as it could be something that they’ve overlooked or even a different case altogether. You can head straight to the game’s support portal by clicking right here.

Pokdepinion: I am about pretty sure there will be some connection errors still but hopefully it’s not as prevalent as before. I personally got tired of playing the game just because of that.
