The MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Lightning Z’s design is finally revealed!
The MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Lightning Z was caught on HWBot with a ridiculously high overclock of 2.45 GHz before it was promptly removed. Then PCB shots were shared online, showing off the 19-phase VRM and also the triple 8-pin PCIe power connectors.

Then MSI Japan posted a teaser, showing off the carbon fiber textured backplate. It further built up the hype for MSI’s top-of-the-line graphics card. But until now, no one knew what the cooler looked like.
Well finally we do. It features a good dose of carbon fiber, gold brushed metal accents and also a triple fan design. MSI spared no expense for the GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Lightning Z despite already implementing such a premium design, and slapped on RGB fans as well. If it were up to me, I would probably run the cooler with the RGB lighting off though. If you know how much I love RGB, you will know that this is the highest of compliments I can give to a graphics card’s design.
What do you think of the card? Yay or nay? Let us know!
