vivo V11 and V11i launched in Malaysia — comes with a new Halo FullView display
Fancy tiny notches? Well then you might want to check out the vivo V11 and the slightly toned down vivo V11i. The new devices feature a new Halo FullView Display with just a minimal notch above the display.
The new Halo FullView display with its tiny notch allowed vivo to bring the screen-to-body-ratio on the vivo V11 up to a whopping 91.27%, which is actually higher than the notchless vivo NEX which clocks in at 91.24%. vivo also managed to cram an impressive 25MP f/2.0 camera in the tiny notch.
The vivo V11’s display is a 6.41″ Super AMOLED display with support for DCI-P3 color gamut. That’s not all though, as vivo also managed to cram an under-display fingerprint scanner beneath the display, bringing it up to parity with their recent flagship. The vivo V11i doesn’t get a under-display fingerprint scanner and the screen is a 6.3″ FHD+ LCD.
The back panel is a little more disappointing though. It’s made of plastic, and will invariably pick up scratches and scuffs that will mar the pretty finishing vivo used. The cameras is a little more interesting, with the vivo V11 sporting a 12MP Dual Pixel + 5MP rear camera setup, while the vivo V11i has 16MP + 5MP cameras.
Under the hood of the vivo V11 is a Snapdragon 660 AIE, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. There is also a 3400 mAh battery to keep things running. The vivo V11i has a MediaTek Helio P60, 4GB RAM, 128GB storage and a 3315 mAh battery.
Pricing for the vivo V11i is RM1299, while the vivo V11 is priced at RM1699. The latter will be available starting 15th September, while the vivo V11i is available starting 21st September.
