Haier Malaysia has announced the appointment of Sun Menghao as its new Managing Director, effective 12 August 2026.

Sun has 10 years of experience within the Haier Group, including five years at AQUA Vietnam. Prior to his current appointment, he served as Director of the Cooling Category at AQUA Vietnam, where he oversaw the refrigerator and freezer businesses.
“With his extensive industry experience, strong leadership capabilities and in-depth understanding of the home-appliance sector, Mr. Sun is well positioned to lead Haier Malaysia into its next phase of growth and development.” Haier Malaysia said in its press release. “Under his leadership, Haier Malaysia will continue to advance smart-living innovation, enhance operational excellence and create stronger value for consumers and business partners.”
Haier Malaysia also acknowledged outgoing Managing Director Fan Jing for his contributions during his tenure, stating that his leadership helped strengthen the company’s foundation, market presence, and business growth in Malaysia.
The company stated that its business operations and commitments will remain unchanged throughout the leadership transition, with continued focus on delivering smart-home solutions and maintaining existing partnerships with customers and stakeholders.
