Local home appliances maker NESH has introduces its new NESH Glacier all-in-one water dispenser machine, which also marks the company’s entry into the smart water solutions segment (the company already has a few water dispensing machines before this, though they’re mechanical-based models).
Meet NESH Glacier, Its First Smart Water Dispenser
Right out of the gate, the NESH Glacier already has a unique sales pitch: it is the smallest ice-dispensing water filter machine as officially recognized by the Malaysia Book of Records. NESH says this product specifically targets consumers with limited countertop space.
The countertop unit integrates multiple functions, including one-touch ice production, 2°C ice water output, crystal-clear bullet ice, UV sterilization, and instant hot water delivery in three seconds, with an adjustable range between 40°C and 95°C. The user interface mostly consists of touchscreens (as you’d expect for any modern-looking home appliances these days), though the two most important buttons below take care of water or ice dispensing.
NESH Glacier also features a dual filtration system “developed with Malaysia’s water conditions in mind,” with mineral enhancement designed to remove sediment, rust, heavy metals, chlorine, and odor while enriching water with minerals, such as silica. There’s a one-touch auto-cleaning function that manages the internal water circuit and tank, which helps reducing limescale buildup and bacteria without manual intervention. The filter is user-replaceable without requiring a technician.
The NESH Glacier is available at a recommended retail price of RM7,976, though there’s a promotion ongoing which slashes its launch price, and you can see the real unit up close over at Pavilion Bukit Jalil shopping mall as part of its product showcase until this weekend.
