EWC organizer Esports Foundation has announced two new merchandise initiatives tied to the Esports World Cup 2026 (EWC26). The organizer announces the EWC26 Paris Collection in line with the event’s host city, plus the public availability of Player’s Jacket, as well as a new trading card collection.

The EWC26 Paris Collection draws from Toile de Jouy, a French decorative textile tradition, incorporating the EWC Trophy and the Eiffel Tower into its designs; a separate EWC26 Capsule Collection focuses on lifestyle apparel, with an emphasis on silhouette, tailoring, and materials intended to reflect how professional players and club representatives present themselves outside of competition.

The EWC Player’s Jacket, first introduced in 2024 and awarded exclusively to qualified EWC players, returns for 2026 in collaboration with Berlin-based menswear brand AKOG Hotel (A Kind of Guise). Each jacket features the EWC “Rise Above” motto, a Paris patch, and a hidden inscription connecting the wearer to the championship trophy. A limited public edition of 40 units in an exclusive colorway will be released over the course of the event. The Player’s Jacket was first made available to the public in 2025 following fan demand.

Esports World Cup has also unveiled its first official Trading Card Collection, developed as part of a multi-year partnership with Kolex. The inaugural collection features players and clubs from EWC 2025 across six card categories: Legends, MVPs, Rookies, Centurions, Prestige, and one-of-one Elite and Chronicles cards. The first 100 of each base card are individually numbered and include a digital twin accessible via the Kolex app.
Unlike collections tied to a single esports title, the EWC Trading Card Collection covers competitors from multiple games and clubs under a single series. Some cards will only become available based on performances during the live tournament, meaning the collection continues to develop as the competition progresses. Each card includes a QR code linking to a digital equivalent in the Kolex app, where collectors can earn points, access global leaderboards, and unlock rewards. The collection is intended to be an annual series covering each edition of the Esports World Cup.
Pokdepinion: Following the traditional sports’ playbook here, though there’s always one major distinction between them: would esports fans be willing to spend?
