The Razer Naga line is back with a new model after four years: the new Razer Naga V3 Pro retains the same ergonomic shape as well as swappable side plates, adding new functions such as updated scroll wheel design and new sensor hardware.

The Razer Naga V3 Pro includes three magnetic swappable side plates, each targeting a different genre. The first one is a 12-button layout for MMOs, but you can step it down with a 6-button layout for MOBAs and battle royale titles, or if you want to keep it simple and straightforward, there’s also a 2-button layout for FPS and general use. Notably, the two quick-access edge buttons beside the left click remains no matter which side plate is installed, so there should be no shortage of buttons even with the leanest configuration.
New on the Naga V3 Pro is the Razer Focus Pro 50K Optical Sensor Gen-3, with up to 50,000 DPI resolution, 930 IPS (inches per second) tracking speed, and 90G peak acceleration; there’s also the Frame Sync feature that aligns sensor scanning with display output to further reduce input delay. The Optical Mouse Switches Gen-4 are rated for over 100 million clicks with a 12% lighter actuation force compared to the previous generation, though note that these are only applicable to the two main buttons; everything else uses traditional mechanical switches.
The HyperScroll Tilt Wheel Gen-2 comes with four scroll modes: standard 24-step Tactile, finer 48-step Precision Tactile, Free-Spin for fast scrolling, and Smart-Reel, which automatically switches between tactile and free-spin based on scroll speed (users can customize the threshold via Razer Synapse). Razer notes that the ring finger button – which was removed from the Naga V2 Pro following feedback on accidental activations – is now back with a toggle to enable or disable it as needed. The side buttons are also double-shot molded to reduce the wear on the key legends.
Razer has equipped the Naga V3 Pro with tri-mode connectivity, including HyperSpeed Wireless with a battery life of up to 155 hours, Bluetooth mode that allows battery life to be extended up to 280 hours, or wired/charging mode via USB-C cable as well. Alternatively, wireless charging is available through the Razer HyperFlux V2 Charging System and Razer Mouse Dock Pro, both sold separately.

Pokdepinion: Bringing back the lockable ring finger button with an on/off toggle is appropriate response to the criticism that led to its removal in the Naga V2 Pro.
