Sony has just announced the new WF-C710N earbuds in Malaysia – the new model supersedes the WF-C700N with a few key changes: significantly longer battery life (up to 8.5 hours onboard, 30 hours combined with ANC on), touch controls in place of physical buttons, automatic play/pause, and a new transparent color option.

The earbuds use Sony’s 5mm driver and Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) processing to deliver audio with clear vocals and bass, and AI machine learning is employed to enhance voice pickup, using over 500 million voice samples for improved clarity during calls. This is further enhanced with Precise Voice Pickup Technology, which optimizes microphone performance in various environments.
The WF-C710N includes dual microphones and Sony’s Dual Noise Sensor technology to improve on its noise cancelling abilities, and like before, it supports features like Ambient Sound mode and Adaptive Sound Control. It also feature IPX4 water resistance and touch controls for music playback, volume adjustment, and hands-free calls, while additional features include Instant Pause/Play, Quick Access to music services, and multi-point Bluetooth connectivity.
The Sony WF-C710N are available for RM499 in four colors: Glass Blue (which features transparent shell with visible internals), Pink, White, and Black, with matching colors on the cylindrical charging case.

Besides that, Sony also introduced new color options for the WH-CH720N and WH-CH520 headphones, in response to growing popularity of “soft, muted tones among Generation Z.” Both models will now be available in pastel pink, while the WH-CH520 will also be offered in muted yellow.
