Sony Introduces WF-C700N Earbuds & New Color For WH-1000XM5
The new WF-C700N wireless earbuds from Sony is the company’s latest midrange entry, with noise cancelling features built in. Like any other TWS, it comes with a transparency mode called ‘Ambient Sound Mode’ which uses microphones to channel the sound from the outer environment, plus a Focus on Voice setting to quickly bypass noise isolation; both of which can be adjusted through the Sony | Headphones Connect app. The earbuds will also detect location and switch to the appropriate ambient sound profile accordingly.
Inside the earbud is the 5mm driver with Sony’s proprietary DSEE audio upscaling tech which the company says delivers ‘powerful bass and stunningly clear vocals despite their small size’. Battery is rated for up to 15 hours, with IPX4 water resistance; the Multipoint Connection feature will allow two devices to be connected to the earbuds simultaneously, and will automatically hand off to the device that receives an incoming call.
The WF-C700N will come in four colors – Black, White, Lavender and Sage Green. Meanwhile, Sony also introduced a new color for their flagship WH-1000XM5 headphones: Midnight Blue. Both models are now available in Malaysia in various sales channels.
Pokdepinion: I’d like to see more colorways for the XM5, though Sony has always been conservative when it comes to flagship’s color designs.
