HyperX Cloud III Unveiled at COMPUTEX 2023, And It’s Coming to Malaysia
HyperX has announced the highly anticipated HyperX Cloud III Gaming Headset at COMPUTEX 2023. Designed to provide gamers with ultimate comfort and an immersive in-game audio experience, the Cloud III gaming headset features re-engineered 53mm angled drivers and lifetime activation of DTS Headphone:X1 for precise 3D audio spatialization.

Building on the success of the Cloud II, HyperX has taken every aspect of the product to the next level, making it the most comfortable and superior sounding gaming headset on the market. It builds upon HyperX’s legacy of comfort and attention to detail. It features re-engineered 53mm angled drivers and DTS Headphone:X1 technology for an immersive and accurate 3D audio experience.
The headset has been custom-tuned by HyperX’s acoustic engineering team to deliver optimal sound and precision. With plush memory foam ear cushions and extra padding in the headband, the HyperX Cloud III is designed for extended gaming sessions. It includes an ultra-clear 10mm microphone with noise-cancellation and an internal metal mesh pop filter to minimize disruptive noise.
The headset also offers simple onboard audio and mic controls and is compatible with PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices. It features 3.5mm, USB-C, and USB-A connectors and comes with a slim US adapter that provides both USB-C and USB-A connectivity.
In addition to the HyperX Cloud III Gaming Headset, they also introduced the HyperX Cirro Buds Pro True Wireless earbuds, designed to deliver an enhanced listening experience with utmost comfort. It provides precision noise canceling with hybrid active noise cancellation technology, ensuring clear sound quality. These earbuds also offer an ambient sound mode, allowing users to stay connected to their surroundings, as well as low-latency audio connectivity for mobile gaming.
With Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, they provide wireless freedom and come with an IPX4 water-resistant rating3 for durability. The protective charging case can fully charge the earbuds in just 40 minutes. The Cirro Buds Pro come with three sets of ear tips for a personalized and secure fit and offer up to 35 hours of battery life. They are available in black, blue, and tan color options.
The HyperX Cloud III Gaming Headset will be available on June 6th with a retail price of RM399. No word yet on whether the Cirro Buds Pro will be making its way to Malaysia but we will be reporting on it as soon as information becomes available so stay tuned.
Pokdepinion: The new iteration of the headset brings a host of improvements in comfort and durability, but it’s hard to say much about the audio quality based on the limited time I had with it. If we get one for review, you can be sure that we will go more in-depth about it so stay tuned.
