Harman Kardon has introduced two new additions to its home audio lineup in Malaysia: the Aura Studio 5 and SoundSticks 5. On the surface, both models still look somewhat the same as their respective predecessors, although internal upgrades are naturally involved to produce the latest iteration of these lineups.
Harman Kardon Aura Studio 5
Starting with the Harman Kardon Aura Studio 5 – it features a redesigned three-way speaker system comprising six 40mm full-range drivers, a 143mm subwoofer for bass, and a new 25mm tweeter to cover high-end frequencies; it also features Constant Sound Field technology that enables consistent audio across all angles. You can also pair multiple units together with Bluetooth stereo pairing and Auracast as well. Design-wise, it’s got updated visuals in the form of new multi-layer lighting for ambiance, and there are five presets offered, with further customization accessible through Harman Kardon ONE app.

Meanwhile, the Harman Kardon SoundSticks 5 keeps the same look as before, with ambient lighting and new integrated 25mm tweeters built into in each satellite speaker, complemented by 40mm mid-range drivers and a down-firing 5.25-inch subwoofer in a separate center unit. It comes in two material colors, in the form of transparent white and smoked glass-effect black. Like the Aura Studio 5, you have five lighting presets available, all accessible via the companion app; it also supports multi-speaker pairing in Bluetooth and Auracast, or be used as a wired speaker for modern TVs through HDMI ARC connection.
The Harman Kardon Aura Studio 5 is priced at RM1,599, with pre-orders available from 7 to 10 November 2025, and the official release scheduled for 11 November 2025; As for the Harman Kardon SoundSticks 5, it is now available at RM1,899 through the brand’s official online channels. Note that both models are currently offered in Bluetooth versions only, with Wi-Fi variants to be offered sometime in Q1 2026.
