Samsung Malaysia Unveils New Premium Soundbar Lineup
The folks over at Samsung Malaysia has revealed their new premium soundbar lineup to round up the 2020 Q-series, the Samsung HW-Q950T and HW-Q900T soundbars.
Samsung HW-Q950T and HQ-Q900T Premium Soundbars
The Samsung HW-Q950T is said to deliver 9.1.4-channel audio, which is the maximum number of channels for home theater systems in a single soundbar. It also includes two wireless rear up-firing speakers which also adds left and right wide channel speakers to the previous 7.1.4-channel system. This allows for a more immersive and realistic audio experience.
Both models have support for Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for immersive audio. As for connection, you can easily connect to devices via a single HDMI cable using the eARC port. Samsung recommends to use it the 2020 QLED TVs as the Q-symphony feature will play surround sound audio from both the TV and the soundbar.
Apart from that, both soundbars have their height reduced compared to the 2019 models from 83mm to 69.5mm, making it easier to fit under the TV. Moreover, they are wrapped in Kvadrat textile, which is said to maximize sound penetration while also adding a touch of elegance. As for smart features, consumers can make use of SmartThings Apps and Bixby to issue voice commands on services like Spotify and TuneIn.

Pokdepinion: Would definitely like to give the soundbar a try while playing Apex Legends. Want to see if I can tell where the enemy is coming / shooting from based on sound alone.
