[Computex 2019] ASUS AMD X570 Series Motherboards – Be spoilt for choices
Now that AMD has returned with the Ryzen 3 series pairing their Zen 2 architectures with the revolutionary PCIe Gen 4.0 PCIe, we were definitely looking forward to what motherboard manufacturers had up their sleeves to offer. When we mention motherboards, our eyes were definitely on ASUS, to see how would they improve the already great X470 boards. And we were definitely not disappointed at all! In fact, the number of SKUs that ASUS has pushed this time is so massive, there is definitely a board that satisfies your build; whether you’re looking for an ATX, ITX or heck, even Mini-DTX!
Of course, leading the pack would be the Republic of Gamers, Crosshair VIII boards that fill in perfectly for demanding overclockers and gamers who want to squeeze every nib of the juice from their systems. This is followed by ROG Strix series, focusing on aesthetics and performance without extravaganza. Then we have the TUF Gaming rolling up its sleeves focused at essential builds with endurance focus and affordable prices. Finally, if you are meticulous about your build and prefer subdued styling with carefully hand picked features, you can turn to the Prime family, and if workstations and creative is your direction, there’s Pro series for you.
Seasoned veteran overclockers, hardcore gamers, first time builders, creators, workaholics, whatever you’re building, there’s an ROG/ASUS X570 motherboard for you.
ROG Crosshair VIII X570 Motherboards and Specifications
What started back in 2006 is now a marque in the computing system. Republic of Gamers was a revolution and it never stopped since it began. It gave a meaning to “enthusiast motherboards”with the original Crosshair and never stopped until today. Build with the highest grade components, these motherboards are capable of hitting the highest speeds, punching the boundaries of desktop computing.
The ROG Crosshair VIII models define the top bar of ASUS’ X570 motherboards. It is led by the armor-clad and liquid-cooling ready Crosshair VIII Formula, followed by the Crosshair VIII Hero and the cute yet beastly Crosshair VIII Impact for Mini-DTX builds.

ASUS Prime X570 and Pro X570 Motherboards and Specifications
AMD’s new Ryzen processors are particularly appealing for executing heavy-duty workloads, but gaming features and multicolored lighting aren’t the best options for the office, and workstations requires a particular set of skills. The Pro WS X570-ACE marries the new CPUs and their PCIe 4.0 connectivity to ECC RAM and management features not normally seen outside of pricey server-grade gear.
If there’s one motherboard in ASUS X570 lineup that balances every possible take on functionality and aesthetics, it’s the Prime X570-PRO. It ticks all the important checkboxes and wears a unique aesthetic with more universal appeal than gamer-oriented designs. Its distinctive look also appeals to enthusiasts who prefer more subdued styling for streamlined builds.
