LG Electronics will be announcing its newest washing machines at IFA 2024, featuring the latest Artificial Intelligence Direct Drive (AI DD) 2.0 technology and a Pet Care cycle.
New LG Washing Machines Lineup
The new washing machine marks LG’s first entry into the 25-inch category, providing a larger drum capacity of up to 16 kilograms. The AI DD 2.0 technology uses deep learning to detect load weight, fabric softness, and soil level, automatically selecting the optimal washing pattern to reduce fabric damage by 10%. The washer also includes a Pet Care cycle, which uses high-temperature washing (up to 60°C) and multiple rinse cycles to remove pet odors effectively.
The washing machine is equipped with TurboWash 360 for faster cycles, reducing washing time to 39 minutes, while ezDispense technology determines the appropriate amount of detergent for each load. It also offers up to 39 washing cycles, and remembers frequently used cycles and allows for customization based on user preferences. It also incorporates the company’s Inverter DirectDrive Motor for quiet operation and durability.
All of the new LG products will be on display at IFA 2024 in Berlin from September 6-10 at the LG booth, Hall 18, Messe Berlin.
Pokdepinion: Not surprising to see AI being marketed as a selling point, though there is some merit to having such technology as well.
