Huawei Malaysia, together with industry organizations, unveiled the “High-Quality 10 Gbps AI Campus Network Technical and Standard White Paper” at the Huawei Malaysia IP Club 2026 conference. The white paper outlines technical standards, best practices, and implementation guidance for building AI campus networks, centered on wireless connectivity, security, and autonomous network operations.
The paper was unveiled by Ir Dr Bernard Lim, Chair of the IEEE Malaysia Section; Professor Emeritus Dr Sureswaran Ramadass, Chairman of the APAC IPv6 Council; Du Xianjun, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Enterprise Business Group at Huawei Malaysia; Leon Lv, Director of Huawei APAC Enterprise Network Marketing & Solution Sales Department; and Jay Wu, Vice President of Huawei Malaysia Enterprise Marketing & Solution.
Huawei AI Campus Network White Paper Aims To Accelerate Local Technology Transformation
The white paper acts “as an authoritative industry reference, outlining technical standards, best practices and implementation guidance for building next-generation AI campus networks,” the company stated in its press release. “Centered on ultra-fast wireless connectivity, end-to-end security and autonomous network operations, the framework enables enterprises to establish a robust digital foundation for the intelligent era.”
In his opening address, Du Xianjun reaffirmed Huawei’s “In Malaysia, For Malaysia” approach, noting that sectors including finance, education, government, and smart campuses require faster and more reliable networks as AI adoption in Malaysia expands. He said Huawei will continue working closely with customers, partners, and industry experts to build the country’s AI-ready digital infrastructure.
David Chen, Director of Huawei Campus Network Solution Product, presented Huawei’s Xinghe Intelligent Campus Network Solution, which combines AI-powered networking, wireless connectivity, Full-Scope Security, and Autonomous Driving Network (ADN) capabilities. Victor Lapian, Chief Technology Officer of Huawei Asia-Pacific, outlined Huawei’s approach to Full-Scope Security, covering integrated protection across digital and physical environments.
Real-world deployments were presented through customer sharing sessions, with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Sunway Education Group, and Institut Aminuddin Baki (IAB) discussing their experiences deploying Huawei’s campus networking solutions and the lessons learned during their digital transformation efforts. The conference also featured 31 interactive demonstration screens showcasing solutions across the education, finance, and government sectors, alongside joint solution demonstrations with ecosystem partners and technical discussions on AI-powered campus networks.
