GameMax has recently announced the new Dragon Knight 2, a full-tower chassis designed for gaming PCs and workstations with large storage arrays – it notably features a built-in HDD hot-swap bay on the top panel for easy access, with an expansive front I/O that includes 5 USB ports and even a SD card slot – a rarity in cases these days.

The case, measuring at 470 x 210 x 465mm, can accommodate E-ATX motherboards (max 280 x 305mm), up to eight HDDs, and eight PCIe slots for add-in cards; there are also five pre-installed ARGB fans to keep internals cooled (you can install an additional intake fan at the bottom to draw in extra air). Radiator support max out at 240mm on both front-mounted and top-mounted installations, as the top one-third of the case is given to the optical disc drive slots.

As for storage, the Dragon Knight 2 can support up to eight 3.5-inch HDDs or ten 2.5-inch SSDs; those exclude the one that can be mounted to the hot-swappable slot on top of the case. The case’s PSU compartment is also isolated like most modern-day designs for improved thermals, though GPU dimensions is less restrictive – it works with cards up to 420mm long, while CPU coolers can be up to 170mm tall.
The GameMax Dragon Knight 2 full-tower chassis is priced at $105.90 (~RM478), though no local availability or pricing has been announce at the time of this writing.
