Following the case’s earlier debut at Computex 2026 in Taiwan earlier this year, the critically-acclaimed HYTE Y50 RGB case has arrived in Malaysia via local distributor Sun Cycle Sdn Bhd. Similar to the Y70, the case adopts three-piece panoramic glass design for displaying the majority of internal PC components, as well as dual-chamber layout that puts the PSU behind the motherboard.
HYTE Y50 RGB Case Features
The HYTE Y50 RGB carries introduces several new features, including stair-stepped internal flooring for additional customization, horizontal GPU mounting to support multi-GPU configurations, and native compatibility with rear-connect motherboard ecosystems such as ASUS BTF, Gigabyte STEALTH and MSI Project ZERO ATX form factors. The case supports up to nine fans in total (including four ARGB fans pre-installed), along with dual 360mm radiators mounted on the top and side panels, plus symmetrical front I/O positioned in the corner.
The case measures 473mm (L) x 288mm (W) x 461mm (H) and is constructed from steel, ABS and tempered glass. It supports traditional E-ATX, ATX, mATX and ITX motherboards, while accommodating ATX power supplies up to 250mm in length (225mm when used with rear-connect motherboards) and CPU coolers up to 160mm tall.
Fan and radiator support includes up to 3x120mm or 2x140mm fans on top (radiators up to 410mm long and 46mm thick), 3x120mm fans on the side (radiators up to 410mm long and 83mm thick), one 120mm fan or radiator at the rear, and up to 2x120mm fans at the bottom. HYTE Y50 RGB comes with one 360mm RGB fan featuring a reverse blade design installed on the side, and one 120mm RGB fan at the rear, each offering 8 ARGB LEDs per blade and a fan speed range of 200 to 1500 RPM.
Storage options include up to six 2.5-inch drive bays (four of which are shared with 3.5-inch bays) and two dedicated 3.5-inch bays, alongside seven full-size expansion slots. Front I/O consists of two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps) ports, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) port and a combo audio/mic jack.
The HYTE Y50 RGB is now available across Malaysia in all five colorways (Snow White, Pitch Black, Black Cherry, Strawberry Milk and Taro Milk) at RM499; consumers can find authorized dealer partners and physical retail locations through the official Sun Cycle distributor page.
