COLORFUL Unveils Feline-Themed COLORFIRE MEOW Series PC Peripherals
Chinese PC peripheral company COLORFUL has just announced its new lineup under the COLORFIRE sub-brand, which prominently features cat-themed designs. The COLORFIRE MEOW series consists of GPUs, a PC case, and an Intel B760 motherboard.
This lineup will feature two colorways in the form of two cats – the “MEOW ORANGE” which the orange tabby, Bobi, represents; and the “MEOW PURPLE” with ‘A+’, the British shorthair cat representing. Currently the orange (Bobi) versions will first be released, with the purple (A+) versions coming at a later date, says the company.
There’s three types of products: first is the RTX 4060 Ti 8GB & RTX 4060 “MEOW-ORG” series which feature a white-and-orange colorways on the triple-fan and dual-fan designs respectively. The 4060 Ti measures at 318.5mm long – a long card by mid-range standards. The dual-fan RTX 4060 model measures 235.5mm long.
Next up is the mATX form-factor motherboard, the COLORFIRE B760M-MEOW WIFI D5 ORANGE. Special colorways scatters across heatsinks, PCB surface and even on the CMOS battery; there’s also the tagline of “cats rule the world” written on the PCH heatsink. Cat owners definitely agree on this one. As for the specs, it features 12+1 phase DrMOS 55A VRM, a single PCIe 5.0 x16 GPU slot, PCIe 3.0 x4 slot, 3x PCIe 4.0 SSD slots, DDR5, 2.5GbE and Wi-Fi 6 support.
Finally, COLORFUL teamed up with case maker Segotep with the new COLORFIRE x Segotep MEOW ORANGE series chassis, a widebody PC case that supports mITX and mATX motherboards, three 2.5″ SSDs and a single 3.5″ HDD, max. 240mm radiators, 170mm CPU tower cooler clearance and a maximum of six 120mm fans supported.
The company says more PC components and peripherals, such as SSDs, RAM and PSUs will be released under the feline-themed lineup at a later date, including the PURPLE MEOW versions. It’ll be sold as a complete system – the company didn’t specify on Malaysia’s local pricing and availability at this writing.
